The best book/ triology I've read in a long time!

The best book/ triology I've read in a long time!
I love how we get to follow Dale, the MC through her life and how she's portrayed so realistically. At first I downloaded a sample and after reading it, when I couldn't get my mind off it, I decided to apply for the ARC copy so I could read the whole thing. Did not regret it one second.

Wow

Wow, I am not sure how I got this book but I am hooked—so glad there are more and I don’t have to wait. Dale is the odd one in the family and treated as such. School is horrible and she is bullied, her only relief is with Joan and Gareth a couple of homeless people that live at the old hospital. One day is particularly bad and she runs away to sail off with Gareth. The things that happen bring a strength to Dale and she sails off alone and has many adventures that make her stronger until she arrives in the Borderland. Who are these people and why do they think so much of her? Now on to the next book. This book has magic, sorcery, love and friendship—a great book for kids and adults alike. I highly recommend this book.

A wonderful tale

When I started this book I was on the fence about if it was a book I would like but that quickly changed. i found myself cheering Dale on as she was bullied and mistreated at home and at school, a fish out of water. The story progresses and we watch her blossom and grow and truly come into who she is finding out she is. A great story of seeking and searching and learning who you are. Sales story extends and includes lots of the paranormal creatures and species. She even has some special help from a few of her friends. As quick as the story unfolds lots of questions still remain.

A wonderful tale that can be enjoyed by all ages. I found it hard to put down and many times held my breath and hoped all would be well. Great characters and excellent writing make this a book I would highly recommend to others.
