The recent surge in AI technology has stirred us all up, bringing both challenges and opportunities to authors like myself. There have been dire (and some positive) predictions made about the future for authors in a world where AI might out-write and out-publish us, while our returns potentially diminish.

For years, it's been broadly advised that authors sell their books directly as a pragmatic decision. Now, with the shifting tides in the publishing world, this advice has become even more pertinent. That’s why I’ve transitioned my website from Wix to Payhip, with a clear goal: establishing my own store to sell my books directly to readers.
