"When I read the first book, a novelette, I really wasn't sure what I was getting into. By the time I was into the second book of the trilogy, I was hooked. This really is a different kind of vampire story. The plot is well-defined and easy to immerse yourself in. The author is knowledgeable and adept at character development. There's lots of romance but no graphic sex, which is appreciated."
"I found myself reading while I cooked, when everyone else was watching TV, and instead of doing my housework. And long into the night. I definitely recommend this one!"
